The Parade Ring

It's always a good idea to view the parade ring in order to watch the horses walk around before they race for at least one of the races on the day...
It’s a nice way to eye up your favourite before placing a bet and you’re also getting a real feel for the entire racing experience.
In the parade ring you will find the owners, trainers and jockeys. There are ample viewing points around the ring with a raised area to provide additional viewing.
After leaving the parade ring the horses will take a few minutes to canter down to the start where they are loaded into the starting stalls. Sometimes this can prove tricky and may delay the start of the race. You have plenty of time to get from the parade ring through to a prime viewing spot near the track.
