Monday 3rd August – Scoops & Saddles Family Day

Scoops & Saddles – Ice Cream Championship

Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon at Ripon Racecourse with our Scoops & Saddles Ice Cream Championship! Treat yourself to a variety of ice creams and sweet treats while taking in the excitement of a day of racing.

Alongside the action on the track, there will be family-friendly entertainment and activities to keep everyone entertained, making it a perfect summer Monday outing at Yorkshire’s Garden Racecourse.

Our feature raceday of the season! Don’t miss the William Hill Great St Wilfrid Handicap, Ripon’s most prestigious sprint race, alongside a full card of exciting racing and a buzzing atmosphere.

Monday 31st August – Curtains Up at the Races Family Day

Curtains Up at the Races

Celebrate the Bank Holiday with a brilliant day of racing and family entertainment at Ripon Racecourse. Expect fun, food and fantastic action on and off the track at Curtains Up at the Races — a special event bringing a touch of theatre to Yorkshire’s Garden Racecourse!

Enjoy a Pantomime Race in collaboration with Harrogate Theatre, cheer on our Children’s Character Onesie Derby, and be dazzled by theatrical-themed children’s entertainment, including a lively circus.

The perfect way to spend your Bank Holiday Monday in Yorkshire’s Garden Racecourse setting.

Saturday 26th September – Theakston Beer Festival

Join us to close out another fantastic season at Ripon Racecourse with our Season Finale and Theakston Beer Festival. Enjoy a great afternoon of racing, live music and a superb selection of Theakston ales as we celebrate the end of the 2026 season in style.

On this day we are supporting Ripon Community House with our Harvest Festival Initiative – if you would like to contribute, please bring along a food donation and drop it in our collection point to support the amazing work they do.
