Disabled Access

Disabled Access

Ripon Racecourse ensures accessibility to all racegoers, including those with disability needs. We want to guarantee all our valued customers receive the great experience they came for.

We are fully aware that not all disabilities are apparent – to avoid embarrassment, if you are a carer and have identification of this, please do bring it with you. If you need to discuss further requirements then call the main office on 01765 530530 and we will assist with any queries. We do offer tickets for carers free of charge, please note that this option is only available on the day. Proof of a blue badge may be asked for, please do not take offence if you are asked for this.

We have a limited number of disabled parking spaces on site; it is advisable to arrive early to ensure guaranteeing a space. The ground is level from parking through to both the paddock and club ticket gates.

There are ample disabled toilets throughout the racecourse and within the bar area, they are clearly indicated but if unsure of location please ask staff for help.

The Paddock

There is complete disabled access as the enclosure is completely flat. There is a disabled raised viewing point located in the paddock area near the finishing posts.

Club Stand

There is a lift allowing access to both the 1st and 2nd floor with further viewing points reserved to disabled customers; guidance to viewing point can be obtained from staff.

Course Enclosure

This is an open grassed enclosure and provides the ease of parking your car a few yards away. There is a sloped area providing great viewing options for all but it is mainly comprised of flat land which ensures accessibility.
