As well as being one of the most welcoming courses for race fans, Ripon also offers owners and trainers superb hospitality which benefited from a substantial investment and renovation in 2017. The new facililties have benefited from a relocation of the bar to offer more internal space alongside a new food serving point and stairlift for wheelchair users. Externally we have extended the upper balcony offering an improved viewing area that overlooks the Parade Ring, along with the addition of a new ground floor patio area with lounge style outdoor seating.
In addition we have introduced a new scheme offering each owner and trainer (with a runner on the day), a complementary £10 refreshment voucher which as imagined has been greatly received. These vouchers can be used in the Owners & Trainers Bar, the Silks & Saddles Bar, the Champagne & Seafood Bar and the Club Dining Room.
We believe that the races – and hopefully your success during the meeting – are only the start of your Ripon experience. Your day out at Ripon has been designed to be as enjoyable as possible.
We have reserved parking for Owners with runners on the day, located outside our Owners and Trainers entrance. There is a dedicated Owners and Trainers bar, which overlooks both the Pre-Parade and Parade Rings.
There is a viewing area in our Club Stand reserved for connections with runners, and a small number of reserved ‘walk-in’ tables in our Club Dining Room specifically for Owners and Trainers.
If you wish to book your table, please contact our caterers CGC Event Caterers on Tel: 0113 287 6387
Alternatively, we offer what we think is the ‘perfect summer meal’ in our Silks and Saddles Bar, accompanied by strawberries and cream, and a celebratory glass of bubbly. The Silks and Saddles Bar is reserved for our special raceday packages up until after the 1st race, then is opened up for all to enjoy.
Each intended runner is allocated six badges. Please contact James Hutchinson, on 01765 530530 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to request additional badges and these will be priced at £11.50 on a standard day, £13on a Saturday with payment expected on the day. Please note we will require names of those to be allocated your badges.
Please note the racecourse office will only be able to accept Owners and Trainers badge requests up to 11.30.a.m on a day meeting & 2.30.p.m on an evening meeting – after these times we cannot ensure that your requests will be passed onto our owners and trainers liason.

Please quote your PASS card number as provided by the RCA, please note we cannot accept requests without this. On arrivial you will be greeted on arrival by Ellissa our Owners and Trainers Liason Officer who will be able to assist with any further queries and issue your complientry refreshment voucher to those who qualify.
Our Owners are invited to park in the Annual Badgeholders Car Park. ROA Members have an Annual Car Park Label which admits them to that car park whether or not the Owner has a runner.
If you are not an ROA Member we would be grateful if you would display one of the issued car park labels. Please do not be offended if you are asked by our car parking staff to confirm this.
We invite all winning connections to join us in the ‘Winners Bar’ to the right of the Weighing Room, to watch a reply of the race, celebrating with a glass of fizz. We also offer a DVD of the race to the winning owners to take away on the day. Duplicate copies can be arranged for owners of all horses at £10 per copy inc postage, please contact our Marketing Manager Erin Boswell on email@example.com for DVD requests.
